Terms & Conditions

You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into contracts under Indian law. Tax Professionals must hold a valid membership (CA / CS / CMA / GST Practitioner / Advocate / Tax Consultant). Clients must be registered by a Tax Professional to access the Client Portal.

• You are responsible for the accuracy of all data (PAN, GSTIN, KYC, financials) you enter or upload.
• You will not use the platform to store or share illegal, harmful, defamatory, or copyrighted material without permission.
• You will keep your login credentials and OTP confidential. All actions performed under your account are your responsibility.
• Tax Professionals are responsible for maintaining client confidentiality and complying with ICAI / GSTN / IT Department ethical guidelines.

Kagajbook is a technology platform, not a data controller. Your Tax Professional remains the sole controller of your personal / financial data. We access data only when strictly required for technical support, and only after your Tax Professional's explicit consent. We never sell, rent, or share user data with third parties for advertising or profiling.

• All subscription plans (Basic, Plus, Pro) are billed annually in advance at the listed price plus 18% GST.
• Payments are securely processed via Razorpay. Kagajbook does not store any card / bank details.
• A 7-day free trial is offered on signup. During the trial, unlimited clients are allowed. After trial expiry, a paid plan is required to continue using the service.
• Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of a paid plan purchase, only if the service is materially defective and could not be resolved within a reasonable time by our support team.

Kagajbook targets 99.5% uptime but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance where possible. Plan-based client limits (Basic 100 / Plus 400 / Pro 1000) are enforced automatically; when reached, you will be prompted to upgrade.

You may cancel or delete your account at any time from the profile settings. Upon cancellation, your account data will be retained for 30 days for possible restore, after which it will be permanently deleted from the cloud storage. Kagajbook reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kagajbook (and its owners, employees, contractors) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, business, or data) arising out of your use of the platform. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
